I had an interview on NATION OF IMMIGRANTS hosted by ThinkTech Hawaii. The episode is entitled “Poetry is Closer to Truth than History” and Chang Wang had some intriguing questions for us all to consider. I was delighted to be the first poet they had on the show.

We discussed immigration, imagination, the Southeast Asian American refugee diaspora, creative writing, advocacy and science fiction this week. Thank you to everyone who tuned in, and you can see the interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKhnBqXNlbY

ThinkTech Hawaii streams from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm HST on weekdays. Check them out any time for great content and great community. Their vision is to be a leader in shaping a more vital and thriving Hawaii as the foundation for future generations. Their mission is to be the leading digital media platform raising public awareness and promoting civic engagement in Hawaii.

And as a quick shoutout during Lao American Artists Heritage Month, my shirt was provided by Sabaidee Buatique!
