I’m reading on September 7th at the new Geeks of Color Writing Series being organized by the amazing Maya Beck.
I’ll be part of the inaugural lineup with Erin Sharkey, Rob Callahan, and Irna Landrum as we read our work at Boneshaker Books from 6-8 pm. This reading series includes an open mic, so please come by to be a part of this, too! Our theme for September 7th will be Overcoming Otherness.
That evening I’m reading new works from my new collection Before We Remember We Dream from Sahtu Press.
In the remainder of the month, writers will explore Geek Sexualities and Intersectional Solidarity. Other writers confirmed so far include Gabriela Santiago, Junauda Petrus, Senah Sampong, Shannon Gibney, Haeyoon Fry, and Saymoukda Vongsay.
