MN Black Author Expo 2017

Held on November 18th, the 2017 Minnesota Black Author Expo was intended to support the work of black authors and to engage our community in North Minneapolis.

This event gave black authors a chance to display their talents, network and meet the community and other authors. Authors were able to sign and sell their books.There was a wide selection to choose from.

Non Fiction, Self Help, Urban Fiction, Christian Fiction, Empowerment, Hip Hop Love Stories, Coming of Age, and Children Books. They had performances, live readings, and great panel discussions with the authors themselves. This event was free and open to the public.

This event was hosted by authors Jasmine Boudah, Toviaz Bridgewater Sly, and De’Vonna Pittman, and was held at Neon located at 1007 West Broadway in the heart of Minneapolis.
